I watched with Dirk, this movie was fun!! I had heard good things, and while perhaps not as funny as I expected, it was surprisingly sweet, and I enjoyed its commentary on class solely for being a product-of-its-time-- (I wish we still could reliably expect a Christmas Bonus).
The movie is very quotable, its extremely easy to see why its a Christmas classic, but admittedly it was hard for me to fully enjoy because at a point I just felt so BAD for Clark. he just wanted a nice Christmas! Regardless, I was enchanted by the white person phrases in this movie, I NEED to embrace my race and learn to speak like a white suburban dad.
